Here is a throwback video that was made by Storage Control Systems Inc. during the construction of our storage facility. Currently, our storage facility allows us to store 600,000 bushels. Algoma houses 8 control atmosphere (CA) rooms, 5 cold rooms, and a packed goods room.
As Algoma continues to grow, we have also started the process to expand our storing capabilities by adding a new storage addition. This addition will allow us to store 400,000 more bushels. That means we'll be able to store up to one million bushels of apples! That's a lot of fruit!
